Always a good question. I guess it depends who you ask. Being in my position, this is a very frequent question. The fascinating aspect is the fact that you can ask ten people and get ten different answers. Which one is correct? Well, that’s up to you!
What do I mean by that? Well, here in PA Dutch Country there are numerous types of chicken corn noodle soup and shoo-fly pie and they all taste different. Does any one person’s opinion rank higher than another? Why should a television analyst’s thoughts be any better than “the guy” down the street? Because he’s an expert, you say. Maybe, but how many times do those so-called experts disagree? More often than the number of noodles in your soup!
Is your glass half full or half empty? We are an economy that changes daily. Some good and some bad. As an individual or business owner, you need to do what is best for your short and long term needs. You need to work through that process and make yourself feel good. What the economy is “doing” on any one day doesn’t really matter. Enjoy each day and reach toward those goals you so strongly want to achieve and don’t worry about asking, “How’s the pie?”
